- Brooklyn and I came back to Washington from Nevada. We sure missed Curtis a lot while we were gone.
- Brooklyn and I went to Open Gym at the gymnastics place here. She loves to run and play and interact with other kids.
- We went looking at houses! Places in our budget are either tiny or fixer uppers. Neither of which we really want right now..
- We went on our first walk of the year, the weather was so nice this week! SO excited for SPRING!
- For FHE on the 13th we had some friends over, Alex, Kent and their sweet baby Beck! We watched a beautiful Mormon message, ate some popcorn and played some Killer Bunnies. It was such a fun night!
- Happy birthday, Lydia! Hopefully she likes her present! We got her a little gardening bag with gloves & tools. We hope she doesn't dig up the yard too bad!
- Happy birthday, Patty! We celebrated her birthday by going out to dinner to Olive Garden!I
- We got a bike trailer!!! And are so excited to spend the whole spring/summer outside!!
- We have gone on a lot of walks and bike rides. We're hoping it will quit being so windy so we can start taking Brooklyn to the park more. I love when it's nice during the day and Brooklyn and I are home alone, we grab the bike & bike trailer and just go ride around the neighborhood.
- And on the last day of March, we begin our road trip to Kansas. We are only going to Boise today, but it will be nice to get those first 4 hours out of the way!
HAPPY SPRING BREAK!

Brooklyn: 1 year 4 months
Brooklyn loves to be chased around the house! She will make me pick her up and chase Curtis around the kitchen. She laughs and laughs and thinks it's the greatest thing ever!
Brooklyn is such a sweetie and loves to give hugs. I love when she wraps her arm around me and pats my back!
Brooklyn got to meet her new baby cousin and she just loved her! Too bad Bailey is only 3 months and not able to play yet.. that's all Brooklyn wanted to do. She did really good holding her and giving her hugs and kisses. It was so precious to see Brooklyn and Bailey together. They are almost exactly 1 year apart.
Brooklyn is learning so many new words and copies things we say all the time now. You can tell her little mind is just racing and absorbing everything! She is such a smart girl. Some of her favorite words lately are: happy, hi, na-night (goodbye), mommy, dada, hot dog (from mickey mouse clubhouse, hot dog hot dog hot diggity dog) and all done! Brooklyn will say hi as soon as anybody walks into the room. She can also say Curtis' parents dogs name, Missy, and my parents dogs names, Zack, Grace and Daisy! "No, no, no!" is also a big one that Brooklyn says all the time!
Brooklyn got to to Ride a horse for the second time and she loved it this time! (The first time she cried the entire time!) My dad wanted to get her a cowgirl hat so we went to Cal Ranch and tried some on! I put two different ones in front of Brooklyn and of course she chose the pink one! She looks so cute with it on, even though it's still too big! Papa went and got Joe all saddled up with my saddle from when I was little and Brooklyn got to ride him! I was surprised at how well she did and that she enjoyed it, we even got some dang cute pictures of her on him.
We sure have a girly girl. Brooklyn absolutely LOVES baby dolls! She will snuggle and hug them, give them kisses and undress them. She loves grab her baby doll and get in her little car and watch a movie with it. So cute!
It's amazing to me how fast Brooklyn is growing up! She is so smart and funny. We love her so much and love watching the sweet girl that she is growing in to!

February '17 in Review
Highlights of February:
- Curtis received a full time job as a paraeducator at Kamiakin High School. It has been such a blessing and we are so excited for him! He works one on one with a student and has really been enjoying it.
- Curtis & Brooklyn both got a cold, and I fell on the stairs and bruised my tailbone really bad. All in the same week..
- Brooklyn had her 15 month appointment. She weighs 25.4 lbs and is 31 inches tall. That is the 75th percentile for both! She also got 4 more shots and took them like a champ!
- We were able to travel down to Rexburg for sweet baby Bailey's blessing. We were so excited to finally get to meet her and Brooklyn just loved her baby cousin. She is so adorable and we wish we could see Jesse, Haley & Bailey more often!
- Will had to work in SLC for the week after the blessing so we left Rexburg and took him to Salt Lake. The next morning Curtis & Patty left to go back to Washington. My mom came and picked Brooklyn and I up and we have been able to spend a couple weeks in Nevada! We sure miss Curtis a ton but are having so much fun spending time with family & friends that we don't get to see much.
- Brooklyn and I went to the Elko museum with Nana, Papa, Aunt Cheryl, Aunt Ashley, McKaydee and Cassidy. We had so much fun and the little girls loved looking at all of the animals!
- Curtis got to go to prom! I am sad because I was out of town and couldn't be his date and go with him, he sure looked handsome though!
