Brooklyn: 2 years

Happy 2nd Birthday sweet girl! 

Brooklyn is strong-willed, stubborn, polite, lovable, playful, sweet, rambunctious and about a million other things! We love her so much and can't even believe she's 2! 

Brooklyn is at such a fun age. We took her to the trampoline park on her birthday and she absolutley loved it! Every time we've taken her before she's hesitant and it takes her a while to get used to it and start playing. This time she ran up the stairs and jumped right on the trampoline. She was even jumping in the foam pit all on her own and I was so surprised! She also has been loving the pool so much more lately and its so fun! 

Brooklyn loves to ask, "What you doing?!" about a million times a day. If we leave the room, if we pick something up, if we stand up.. haha pretty much whenever we move! She's very observant!

Brooklyn's favorite word the past few months has been "mine"! She thinks absolutely everything in our house is hers and if you take it from her she can throw a nice 2 year old tantrum! In fact, on her birthday she showed us some true 2 year old colors. She threw FIVE tantrums in one day! Like on the floor kicking and screaming and crying tantrums. Man, we're in for it with this one! But she can also be the absolute sweetest girl too! 

We have started potty training. Sleep training, weening from nursing, taking the pacifier away and taking the bottle away were a PIECE OF CAKE compared to potty training. It doesn't help that Brooklyn is a lot more stubborn than me ha! But we're working on it and she is getting better each day! Now I just have to work up the courage to actually leave the house with her in underwear and not a diaper ;) 

I just love my sweet girl so much and can't wait to see her as a big sister in a few weeks. She is going to just LOVE her baby brother to pieces! (Hopefully not literally ha!)

"Brooklyn are you excited for baby brother?"
"Nooooo."
"Why not?"
"Mmmmm, I don't know."

Brooklyn loves to play with my hair! I will sit on the floor and she will sit behind me on the couch and play with it forever, I love it as much as she does!

Brooklyn can say her name when you ask her and how old she is! It's the cutest thing! 

Brooklyn: 1 year 11 months

Brooklyn is the funniest girl ever! She keeps me on my toes and laughing every single day! She comes up with the funniest things to say and I have no idea where she gets it from.

I can't believe that in ONE month Brooklyn will be TWO! I just can't believe how fast the last two years have gone. I sure love this spunky little girl!

Brooklyn also has her naughty side too! If she gets told no she will throw whatever is in her hand.. She definitely has an attitude and is very stubborn.

Brooklyn can't wait for her baby brother to get here and she is going to be the best big sister. She is such a mommy to her baby dolls and its the sweetest.

Brooklyn got her first blisters this past month. Curtis was making popcorn on the stove and turned his back for 2 seconds and she either touched the pan or the burner.. Brooklyn has a very high pain tolerance and she just ran to us and said "hot, hot!" Blisters take a minutes to show up and her fingers were just red, I kissed them better and she just kept saying "hot, hot!" so I ran them under cold water and you could see it took the pain away for a little bit. We noticed the blisters coming up and we felt so bad for her! She had a blister on her ring finger and her middle finger. All she wanted us to do was run them under the cold water. We put some aloe vera on them and band aids so she wouldn't touch them. They were pretty big blisters but by morning she was fine and you wouldn't even know they were there because she felt fine! It did take a couple weeks for the blisters to go away though.

30 Weeks

I can't believe how completely opposite this pregnancy has been from Brooklyn's. It has been so nice though and I wish every woman's pregnancy could be as easy as this one has been.

Baby boy moves like crazy! Brooklyn was so lazy and hardly ever moved haha! I'm constantly getting kicked and jabbed and punched, but I love it! I love feeling this little guy move around. His feet are clear up in my ribs and that definitely does not feel very good though ha. 

We are 99% sure we know what we are naming baby boy but everyone is going to have to wait until he's born to know :)

Brooklyn still loves kissing my belly and she sure loves her sweet little brother already! 

Baby is measuring 2-3 weeks ahead of the dr's due date, which is my original due date.. even though they won't change my due date back. The dr. said he would induce me at 39 weeks though, but we're hoping he comes earlier ;) Baby boy was measuring 3 lbs 10 oz at my 29 week ultrasound which puts him in the 80th percentile! 

29 weeks
