I have felt SO good! I have only gotten sick a handful of times and feel so lucky! The only complaint so far is how bad my hips hurt and the shooting pain I get across the back of my left thigh.. Definitely need to get in to a chiropractor to get adjusted and hopefully will get better!
Belly bump has certainly made its appearance!
Brooklyn is still calling the baby Crackle and will now sing and talk to my belly before she kisses it. She is so excited to be a big sister!
At our last doctor appointment they checked the heart rate and the doctor thought it was so cute, he didn't more the thing at all across my belly, the baby moved to it and we were able to hear the heart beat! Loud, strong and fast heart rate!
We are getting anxious to meet this baby and feel so blessed to be adding another little babe to our family!

Brooklyn: 1 year 8 months
Brooklyn favorite word lately has been alright! "Brooklyn come here!" "Alright!" She pretty much says it as an answer to anything.
Curtis taught her how to head bump and say dude like Crush on Finding Nemo. She will give you a high 5, first bump, head bump and then say dude! It's the cutest thing ever! We finally caught it on video so you can watch here.
Brooklyn went camping for the first time this past month and loved it! We hope we get to go a few more times this summer.
Loves to pretend to be sleeping. She will grab a blanket, lay on the floor, say night-night and then pretend to snore, it is the most adorable thing ever!
Finally weined from the bottles this month! No more bottles, only sippy cups! Such a big girl! Next step: potty training. She has gone on her potty chair once and will tell me when she needs to go (sometimes). We got her some Minnie Mouse underwear today and she absolutely loves them! She did not want to put a diaper back on to go to bed. Hopefully she potty trains as well as every other milestone in her life so far!
Played and played and played and played with cousins and friends on our trip to Nevada! Brooklyn is a social bug and loves being with people and playing with her cousins! We SO wish we lived closer so they could play all the time!
4-wheeler rides with grandma! They would drive down and get the newspaper and Brooklyn had so much fun!
Learned how to climb the rock wall on grandma and grandpas swing set. She is getting TOO BIG!
Went to a little water park in Hermiston, OR and we probably went down the water slide 50x with Brooklyn! She had a blast and is so cute in the water.
We went shooting and taught Brooklyn how to shoot the BB gun, she thought she was pretty cool. The best part was picking up the shell casings off the ground and playing with them.
4th of July! Brooklyn went to her first parade and watched her first firework show! She waved to everybody that went by in the parade. It was a 2 hour parade and when Brooklyn needed a little break she would just go climb in and sit in her stroller for a minute, then she was back waving again and getting more candy. The fireworks were so much fun and Brooklyn enjoyed watching them. Every once in a while a real loud one would scare her and she would just snuggle closer to me, but she did so well and loved the bright lights!
I just can't believe this little girl is 20 months! That sounds weird, when people ask how old she is I just say that she will be 2 in November- which sounds super weird too!

June '17 in Review
- Babysit (more like play date) Mae and Tess. Brooklyn had so much fun playing with friends. Tess is 1 month younger than Brooklyn and Mae just turned 4 last month.
- Brooklyn and Mom got pedicures! The more I get the less ticklish my feet are each time!
- Baby doctor appointment. Ultrasound looks good but they want me to take it easy and not lift heavy things for a while, which includes Brooklyn and is very hard to not pick her up! (I'm not doing very good at that!)
- Play date at the park and splash pad!
- Swimming at a family's house for Young Women's. They needed to pass off some certification for camp and since Curtis used to be a lifeguard they asked if he would do it, so we got to go swimming!
- Camping for the first time this summer! And Brooklyn's first time ever. It was so much fun, even though it rained on us.
- Curtis had his last day of school! Woo-hoo! We left the next day to spend a week and a half in Nevada with my family and we had so much fun! Lots of cousin time and girl time with all these little girls running around!
- We had a BBQ for father's day. Grandma, Ashley and girls, Cheryl and kids came over and we had so much fun. I love being able to spend time with my family and watching Brooklyn play with them all! She has such a blast!
- We went on a few walks while in Nevada, played with cousins a lot and got to catch up with family and friends we don't get to see that often! My parents took me to Dos Amigos for my early birthday dinner and man have I missed that restaurant ha!
- Curtis and I were finally able to go to the temple! We were able to do a session that we haven't been able to do in a very long time! It was some much needed time together serving in the House of the Lord and it was definitely what we both needed!
- 15 week baby doctor appointment. No ultrasound this time but they checked the heart beat and it was strong and loud. (I'm still believing I'm further along than they say I am ;)
- Curtis started working summer school! It's only 3 hours a day so he is still able to get a lot of his school work done!
- There is a movie theatre in Pasco that does free movies 3 mornings a week throughout the summer. Brooklyn and I decided to go check it out and we got to watch Annie. Next week is Trolls and Brooklyn is so excited to watch Poppy on the big screen!
- Will's work had a picnic and pool party at the little water park in Hermiston, OR. It was so much fun! Brooklyn had a blast going down the slide and we probably took her down it 50x! She even went down once by herself!
