Our Story

Curtis and I met while he was doing an internship in Nevada. Somehow we got thrown together in our group of friends and we ended up talking, a lot. Because of the YSA branch in Elko we had activities almost every night. And the nights we didn't have activities our group of friends were hanging out doing something. So Curtis and I saw each other every single day from the end of January until the middle of April when he moved back to Rexburg for school. Since we were with each other every day we got to know each other super fast. We talked about everything with each other. We literally grew to be each others best friends. When Curtis moved back to Rexburg it was so hard on us! (Curtis didn't like long distance and didn't think it would work, I on the other hand had no doubt that it would work out! After our first kiss I knew and had a feeling that that would be my last first kiss.) I was traveling up to see Curtis and he was traveling back to Nevada to see me all the time! One weekend he was coming down for my cousins wedding and he surprised me and came a night early and proposed! It was so cute and I'm so glad he did! We were engaged June 19, 2014. It was hard being so far apart from each other so in August I decided to move to Rexburg! On November 21, 2014 we were married in the Brigham City Temple. And the rest they say is history!

We have done a lot of moving since we've been married because of school and internships. We have got to see a lot of fun places. We are currently living in Herriman, UT where we have bought our first home.

10 days before our 1 year anniversary we welcomed our first babe, Brooklyn Ann, into our family! She has been such a joy and we love her so much. Parley Manning (1st boy on Curtis' side/1st boy on my side in 16 years) was born December 13, 2017. And we are expecting Baby Girl in May of 2019!

Curtis is currently attending school through an online program at Western Governors University. He is studying accounting while working as an accountant at a firm in West Jordan, UT. Curtis loves BYU, basketball, playing with Brooklyn, homemade pizza, books and beef. (Yes, he gave me this list!)

Some things I love are crafting, getting dressed up, shopping, sewing, cooking, swimming, taking pictures, decorating, being outside, being a mom and wife, running, Gilmore Girls, cleaning & organizing, volleyball and ice water! 

We love to spend time together as a family. We love camping, hiking, playing sports together, watching movies together, going on walks, road trips and swimming. Pretty much if we can do it together we will love it!
