Brooklyn: 3 years 2 months

On New Year's Eve Curtis gave Brooklyn a Father's Blessing to help and protect her throughout the new year. She was blessed to grow in and love the gospel, enjoy and love primary as she starts something new, love and play with her siblings, stay healthy, love her family and be a good helper.

Brooklyn started going to primary last week! She is now a Sunbeam and no longer goes to Nursery. She had a blast and absolutely loved it. I was shocked, but we had been talking it up to her so she wouldn't have such a hard time. She really loves the song 'Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam' so we knew she would love being a sunbeam.

We were driving to the gas station one day and all of the sudden Brooklyn goes "Oh my heck!" I just started busting out laughing. She sure pays attention to how i talk haha it was the cutest thing ever.

Brooklyn absolutely loves Spiderman. I have no idea why or where her obsession came from but its super cute how much she loves him.

"Brooklyn what should we name baby sister?"
"I don't know. But not Honey Lemon or Strawberry!"
I think we're good on those names! Honey Lemon is the name of a superhero on the movie Big Hero 6, which Brooklyn loves. For a couple weeks she was telling us we should name her Honey Lemon but it seems she has changed her mind. Haha.

We ran out of Kleenex a couple weeks ago and Parley has been teething with a super runny nose. Well I kept forgetting to get more Kleenex at the store so we were just using toilet paper for a little while. Brooklyn starting calling the toilet paper 'bum kleenex' and Curtis and I about died. It was hilarious and I think it's the funniest name ever for toilet paper!

I think we can tell that we've been eating too many treats and junk food lately (holidays!) because Brooklyn's favorite foods have become broccoli and salad.

Brooklyn had a pretty fun Christmas. Santa brought her and Parley a slide and a big canister of chocolate milk mix!
